Mission

My goal is to foster a relationship with my clients that leads to a deeper pedological understanding.  This allows me to  facilitate a plan of action to reinvent, adapt, modify, and transform an objective or teaching practice to meet the needs of all students and the communities where instruction occurs.

Values

I will work to understand and appreciate  the realities of each client’s classroom or learning community so that I am able to cultivate a deeper understanding of their pursuits within them.

Strengths

I believe my greatest skill is taking concepts from a curriculum and coaching teachers to modify the objectives in a manner that makes students excited about learning.

Students use Mr. Potato head to help learn about their senses.

Fifth grade students used collaboration and the soft skill  of following directions to put together a model house.  They also had to add three energy sources and explain the transfers.

Students acted out the water cycle then created a storyboard to build interest and facilitate understanding.

As a vocabulary strategy, students added motions into a GIF to demonstrate the water cycle and match the vocabulary with their actions.

What would we have done without her? Lee Gruss, STREAM Coach for BFFKC during the 23-24 school year, took on St. Regis to assist us in developing our STREAM program. Besides planning and implementing Project-Based Learning opportunities, Lee helped to develop our Logic School Science program. Using modeling and one-on-one teacher instruction, Mrs. Gruss integrates her wide experience, love for all scholars, and patient instruction that leads to success to create an adventure for our scholars. Fun, Fascinating, and Formative are words that I would use to describe Lee. St. Regis scholars reached for unimaginable heights and were thrilled to meet them.Thank you, Lee!
